Ziebart undercoating problems
The undercarriage of my car is dry , clean , and solid , but does have surface rust . The car is 52 years old and i do not think it had any undercoating when it was new . Ok. Made, I think, the mistake of having Zeibart undercoating. Please don't lecture me on my foolishness. ; ). Had Zeibart sound deadening undercoating 20 years ago, 100,000 miles, on my Tacoma and still was holding up. So Thought ok, just do ziebart undercoating for protection (just did undercoating not the sound deadening extra ).The answer is a frank YES. Undercoating a vehicle will make all the difference. By reducing least about 5 dB (decibels), and probably more than that, this is a great, cost-effective solution to the reduction of noise.
