Spidertrax spacers 4runner
I'm running 285/70/R17 Falken Wildpeaks. The 1.25" spidertrax spacers required a body mount chop. Do you know what the offset is now? The original offset was +4 mm but the spacers are -32 mm. Changing the suspension setup in a bad way, increase wear on suspension, make handling worse, increased tire wear, less off-road capability. Oh, and it looks terrible. I have no idea why people think installing spacers is a good idea, unless you correct the offset of different wheels.

I'm running a 3" lift with 1.25 Spidertrax spacers, 285/70/17 Cooper STT Pros, and Method Double Standards with something like -12 or -14 offset. Required a cab mount chop for sure, but no rubbing afterward. Mind you I am still using factory size 265/70-17 tires on a slightly wider wheel and have a 2" front lift. If you mount a larger tire you will probably need to trim more. The top picture was taken before I added 1.25" more in height and the spacers.
