I have a 2007 Sienna XLE and recently the driver side power side view mirror make a loud noise every time I turn the car on. It sounds like a motor is running but nothing is moving. Closing and opening the mirror or adjusting it does not make the noise stop. The only way to get it to stop is to push the mirror forward or back.One other thing to try - On the drivers side, turn the small dial used for adjusting the mirrors to the 6:00 position. Then push the small button about 1/2" away that looks like a mirror. If I turn the dial to 6pm, the mirrors close.
