Nclex shut off at 115 questions
It cut off at 85 questions (the minimum). I feel like I done alright. I guess I'll know in a couple of days. Does anyone have any experience whether cutting off that short is a good thing or not. From what I understand, it either means you done really well or really bad. Hybrid, Online, or On-Campus.I know people that took nclex (when it was 75) got 75 questions and failed, got 75 questions and passed, got 265 questions and failed and got 265 questions and passed. I would think if the questions were vague, they were at the higher level, such as the select all that apply. If they just straight up wants facts, that's not the greatest.

In other words, if the computer shuts off at 85 questions, the only thing that means was that the computer had a high enough confidence to determine that you either passed or failed at that point.Took the NCLEX today and it shut off around 85 questions. Got a good pop-up using the PVT. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I can definitely say that UWorld prepared me extremely well for the exam. I took the NCLEX-PN today and it shut off at 85. Last time I failed but it shut of at 110 questions. I came home and did the pearson vue trick. It won't let me register for a new test. Hopefully its a good omen, but as soon as the quick results are ready, I'm going to take a look.The questions aren't trying to trick you like the ones in nursing school did lol. It's VERY straight forward on the nclex. For example: "The patient is taking medication XYZ. What would be priority for the nurse to report?" and then they'll list possible effects of the med. Most of the priority based questions are just like this.
