As many have found out, this job can be a real pain because there's so little room to get at the fill port. Just a quick note for those venturing into fluid exchanges on their transmissions, as there are a lot of first-timers floating around in here and I thought a little more info on the subject might be of some benefit. I just did a fluid exchange on my 2010 FJ (A750F transmission) today at 92,xxx miles.

And I been searching on what is the best oil for fj MT, turns out royal purple might not be a good idea.One other observation: The oil was very black for 5000miles even though it looked pretty clean on the dipstick. I intend to change regularly at 5000. I don't think the 10,000mile recommendation is a good idea. Other new cars I have owned the oil was still honey colored after 3000k.
