A big, big draw of getting games on Steam is the family sharing aspect and with 3 kids and myself I really don't want to be buying potentially 4 copies of games and obviously family sharing works well in this respect - the vast majority of games support it, well over 1500 in my case. So why does this not work "properly" on the Steam Deck?To enable Family View in the Steam Client: Log into the Steam account your child will use. Click the. Steam. menu in the top menu bar. I fixed it once by updating my deck but now it's randomly happened again and I don't know what to do. The other account hasn't been touched in a over week and it last time I was able to use it was 2 days ago. Edit. Works when he logs into his account and back out.
