Created for "all things creepy," the subreddit is home to a whopping 14.2M members, proving that spine-chilling content is a big hit here on the internet.The photo is indeed creepy, but there is a fatal problem with it — the Amityville story is a total hoax. The Lutz family and Butch DeFeo's defense attorney, William Weber, invented the haunting.
