In June of 2023, I purchased rear leaf springs from Alcan for my '71 c2500. I asked for a 1-inch lift over stock, base spring rating (2000lbs), and for the pin to move 1/2" rearward. What I got was a 6-inch lift.Rears VS All Pro/Trail gear 3" springs. I am going through my truck again, adding 60's front and rear, 40's, and a V8. I have rears up front right now which I could not be more pleased with, the flex is awesome, they are soft and offer a great ride . These springs are built for 900Lbs. capacity each based on the weight estimates I gave Alcan. Alcan sold me on their 6" "custom" shackles, but I am unimpressed with what they sent considering what they charged me. I was expecting something nicer than bent 1/4" plate for $200.
